STRATHMORE ®

Corporate and Social Responsibility
Responsibility, Practised Quietly.
At Strathmore, responsibility is not a marketing exercise. It is a professional obligation.
We work with individuals whose careers carry influence, visibility and long‑term consequence. That responsibility informs how we operate, the standards we apply, and the outcomes we seek — for our clients and beyond.
A Professional Standard of Conduct
Strathmore operates to professional services standards across every engagement.
This means:
-
Acting with integrity and independence in all commercial matters
-
Managing conflicts actively and transparently
-
Prioritising long‑term outcomes over short‑term gain
-
Upholding discretion, confidentiality and trust as non‑negotiable principles
We believe responsible conduct begins with how decisions are made, not how they are described.
Supporting Sustainable Careers
Elite sport is demanding, finite and exposed to risk. Our responsibility to clients extends beyond individual transactions.
We support sustainable careers by:
-
Advising with a long‑term perspective
-
Encouraging sound financial and commercial decision‑making
-
Promoting balance between performance, wellbeing and life beyond sport
-
Helping clients plan responsibly for transition and post‑career life
Success without preparation is fragile. Sustainability is a form of responsibility.
Ethical Commercial Representation
Commercial opportunity is central to elite sport — but it must be approached with judgement.
Strathmore supports responsible commercial engagement by:
-
Structuring endorsements and partnerships transparently
-
Protecting clients from misaligned or reputationally harmful arrangements
-
Ensuring contractual clarity and fairness
-
Supporting compliant, well‑governed structures
We believe ethical representation protects both opportunity and reputation.
Contribution Beyond Representation
Where appropriate, Strathmore supports initiatives that reflect our belief in long‑term value, character and service.
This may include:
-
Advising on charitable and philanthropic projects
-
Supporting educational, mentoring or community initiatives
-
Encouraging responsible use of influence and platform
These activities are driven by alignment and substance, not publicity.
Responsible Growth
Strathmore does not pursue scale for its own sake.
Our boutique model exists to ensure:
-
Proper attention to each client
-
Sustainable working practices
-
Thoughtful, selective growth
-
Consistent quality of judgement and delivery
Responsible growth allows responsibility to remain real.
A Deliberate Perspective
We recognise that leadership, success and influence create moral as well as professional obligations.
Our approach is informed by the belief that wise decision‑making, measured ambition and integrity of action matter — both during a career and long after it.
“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
This perspective shapes how we advise, how we act, and the standards we hold ourselves to.
In Summary
Corporate social responsibility at Strathmore is not a programme.
It is a way of operating.
Quietly applied.
Consistently upheld.
Personally accountable.
International Justice Mission (IJM)
We support International Justice Mission (IJM). IJM combats child trafficking, sex trafficking, labour trafficking, cross-border trafficking and online sexual exploitation of children.
They work with authorities to bring victims of trafficking to safety, provide trauma-informed care to survivors, bring traffickers to justice and enable systemic change so that people are not abused in the first place.
IJM works with global partners and authorities to protect people from human trafficking and modern slavery in Cambodia, Ghana, South Asia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Kenya, across Europe and the UK.
